♂ Joos (Wiebe v. mijn vlakke Land) ist ein sehr interessanter Rüde für mich für diese Verpaarung. Mit meiner Hündin Yulivee habe ich einen Traumhund, mit top Gesundheitsresultaten, ausser bei der GD. Desshalb war das erste Kriterium an einen Rüden, dass er GD-frei ist. Danach kommen für mich weitere Kriterien dazu: max. 1 Wurf bisher (noch besser gar keinen), nicht zu gross und zu massig, mit einer schönen Stromung und natürlich einem freundlichen Wesen. Ich züchte seit 13 Jahren Rauhaare und habe immer sehr viel Wert auf Outcross gelegt. Auch habe ich mich aktiv an der Einkreuzung mit dem Kurzhaar beteiligt. Der kleine Genpool ist ein bekanntes Problem. Dazu kommt für mich neu auch die “Grösse und Masse” diverser Rauhaarrüden. Auch ich habe in den letzten Würfen immer wieder sehr grosse Rüden dabei gehabt, obwohl die Verpaarungen absolut im Standard waren! Keiner der Elterntiere (Rüde oder Hündin) hatten Übergrösse und trotzdem hatte ich Hunde mit bis zu 65cm und über 30kg. Mit dieser Verpaarung züchte ich etwas Enger, stütze mich aber vor allem auf für mich 2 der besten Hunde in den letzten Jahren: Yfke-Bente v.d. Eefdese Enk & Dappere Dorus v. Brabantstad. Aber auch meine Linie, angeführt mit Aloha kãkou Lani Lotje, über 13 Jahre alt und x-facher Champion und Gewinner an Ausstellungen, möchte ich nicht unerwähnt lassen. Der IK und AVK ist somit etwas enger, für mich aber vertretbar.
Ich verspreche mir davon Hunde, die wieder etwas mehr im Standard sind, d.h. unter 30kg und auch Grössenmässig im gesunden Bereich. Im Hintergrund habe ich auch das Osteosarkom im Kopf, welches für mich prozentual zur Population sehr stark zugenommen hat. Ich vermute einen Zusammenhang mit der Masse und Grösse der Hunde, was aber nicht belegt ist. Ich finde es aber leider keine gute Entwicklung.
♀ Yulivee (Aloha kãkou Yulivee Nalu) ist für mich ein Traumhund. Obwohl sie optisch sehr kurzhaarig wirkt und leider nie so erfolgreich werden wird an Ausstellungen wie ihre Grossmutter, bringt sie so viele gute Qualitäten mit wie ihr gutes Sozialverhalten, ihren Grundgehorsam (ohne viel Training), ihre Aufmerksamkeit,schlichtweg ihre liebevolle Präsenz. Auch wenn wir keine Trainingsweltmeister sind, zeigt mir Yulivee ihre Qualitäten in Verhaltens-/Begegnungskursen, wo sie auch schwierige Hunde in einer Klarheit zurecht weist, die mich immer wieder berührt.
♂ Joos (Wiebe v. mijn vlakke Land) is a very interesting male in my opinion for this mating. My female Yulivee is a dream dog, with top health results, except at GD. Therefore, the first criteria for to select the male was, that he is GD-free. After that, other criteria come into play for me: max. 1 litter so far (even better none at all), not too big and too bulky, with a beautiful brindle fur and of course a friendly temper. I have been breeding roughhairs for 13 years and have always attached great importance to outcross. I have also been actively involved in outcrossing with the shorthair. The small gene pool is a well-known problem. In addition to this, the “size and mass” of various roughhaired males is new to me. In the last litters I have also had very tall males, although the matings were absolutely within the standard! None of the parents (male or female) were oversized and yet I had dogs up to 65cm and over 30kg. With this planned mating I will breed a bit tighter, but mainly rely on 2 of the best dogs for me in the last years: Yfke-Bente v.d. Eefdese Enk & Dappere Dorus v. Brabantstad. But also my breeding line, led by Aloha kãkou Lani Lotje, over 13 years old and x-times champion and winner at shows, I would not like to leave unmentioned. The IK and AVK is therefore somewhat narrower, but justifiable for me.
I hope that the dogs will be more in the standard again, less than 30 kg and also in a healthy size range. In the background I also have osteosarcoma in mind, which for me has increased very strongly in percentage to the population. I suspect a connection with the mass and size of the dogs, but this is not proven. I don’t think it’s a good development, unfortunately.
♀ Yulivee (Aloha kãkou Yulivee Nalu) is a dream dog for me. Although visually she looks very short-haired and unfortunately will never be as successful as her grandmother on shows, she brings so many exellent qualities such as her good social behaviour, her basic obedience (without much training), her attention, simply her loving presence. Even though we are not training world champions, Yulivee shows me her qualities in behaviour/encounter classes, where she also puts difficult dogs in their place with a clarity that always touches me.
